Window Tinting Not Just for Cars

Lisa Warner heard far too many horror stories from her partner Truman's workplace, that she decided to start their own Window Tinting business with the main focus on customer service and integrity, something she felt was truly lacking in other tint shops. 

 While pregnant with their first Child and being ordered to bed rest, Lisa used this time to research the market, find the best film suppliers and come up with the all important name Trublutint, named to represent her partner Truman, his favourite colour blue and of course what they did. 

The business began primarily marketing to car owners but soon shifted to include homes and commerical propeties, with many add-on services included in the business structure.

A standard sedan Window Tint costs between $249-$449, there is no "standard" sized home however prices from $59 a square meter.

Women in Small Business Network Lunch

Had a great day yesterday attending the Buds to Blossom Women in Small Business networking lunch at Springfield Lakes Hotel.

Networking is one of those things that at the very beginning makes me very nervous but as the questions start flowing the nerves quickly go away making me see the like minded women in this room.  Truman and I have run Trublutint for 5 years now and we are at the stage where we are looking for new direction and opportunities, one of these I guess tactics we are exploring closer is business to business networking, our business can benefit another business in more than one way, from their vehicle tinting and signage to their shop or home tinting to the promotional material they use. 

Jade from Be Social, Be Savy was brilliant for her first workshop, taking us from the very basics right up to some practical ways to implement the marketing strategies. 

MayKing Tea was very passionate about Tea, Shoes and social media mainly Twitter which is that one platform I don't think ill ever completely understand lol although Trublutint has had a twitter for many years I now have a better understand of just what I should be doing with it to not just generate leads but to actually generate blossoming relationships, after all business is all about relationships.

It was refreshing to know that a lot of the strategies we currently use for building relationships and getting our brand not only seen as Trublutint the Window Tinting, Vinyl Wrapping, Signage and other aftermarket accessories shop but a family brand that can offer customers solutions to their problems. 

I am looking forward to blogging more and more and so is Truman :)
